Trilingual Veterinary Claims Specialist

Job Summary

Combining veterinary medical knowledge with critical thinking, the full-time remote Trilingual Veterinary Claims Specialist will assess pet insurance claims, review medical records, and ensure timely and accurate claim decisions while providing exceptional service to pet owners and veterinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review veterinary medical records, clinical notes, invoices, and policy information to evaluate claim eligibility and determine outcomes
• Conduct secondary claim reviews during the appeals process and communicate claim rationale clearly and professionally
• Investigate complex claim scenarios by gathering and interpreting relevant medical and policy information

Required qualifications

• Professional working proficiency in English, with professional fluency in German and French required
• 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing veterinary, animal health, pet insurance, or related environment
• Strong understanding of veterinary medical terminology, common conditions, treatments, and diagnostic procedures
• Experience reviewing medical records or supporting patient care, claims adjudication, or insurance operations is considered an asset
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and other business software
