Trust and Safety Lead

Job Summary

Building and owning the Trust, Safety, and Compliance function, the full-time Trust and Safety Lead will define policies, develop risk-based systems, and manage operations in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enforce policies across accounts, payments, and API usage while ensuring compliance with sanctions and regulatory requirements
• Build risk-based systems and develop unified risk scoring, partnering with engineering on sanctions controls and enforcement systems
• Handle investigations, enforcement decisions, and appeals, turning operational learnings into scalable systems

Required qualifications

• Experience building or scaling trust & safety, risk, or compliance systems
• Strong understanding of sanctions, fraud, and enforcement systems
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, legal, and operations
• Ability to design and operate data-driven systems
• Builder mindset with comfort in 0-1 and ambiguous environments
