Trust and Safety Manager
Job Summary
As the first dedicated leader of Trust & Safety, the full-time remote Senior Manager will define trust protocols, build and lead a Trust & Safety team, and develop strategies to ensure a safe marketplace while collaborating across various departments.
Key responsibilities
- Define trust standards and develop protocols for identifying and responding to trust-breaching incidents
- Hire and manage a Trust & Safety team focused on policy enforcement and dispute resolution
- Establish processes for monitoring marketplace trust and provide strategic responses to trust-related events
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Trust & Safety or related fields, with at least 3 years in program design and implementation
- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams in high-volume dispute environments
- Experience designing and scaling dispute resolution processes from the ground up
- Exceptional judgment and decisiveness in high-stakes situations
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced study preferred in a related field
