Trust and Safety Manager
Job Summary
Leading the strategy and execution of Trust and Safety initiatives, the full-time Senior Manager, Trust & Safety will define trust protocols, build a dedicated team, and ensure a safe marketplace in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Define and develop trust policies and protocols to identify and respond to trust-breaching experiences
- Hire and lead a Trust & Safety team focused on policy enforcement and dispute resolution
- Establish monitoring processes for trust incidents and prepare reports on marketplace trust status
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Trust and Safety or related fields, with at least 3 years in program design and implementation
- Proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams, particularly in dispute resolution
- Experience in designing and scaling dispute resolution processes from the ground up
- Exceptional judgment and decisiveness in high-stakes situations
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; advanced graduate study preferred
