Trust and Safety Manager

Job Summary

As the first dedicated leader of Trust & Safety, the full-time remote Senior Manager will define trust protocols, build and manage a Trust & Safety team, and ensure the development of policies and systems to maintain a safe marketplace.

Key responsibilities

• Define and develop protocols for identifying trust-breaching experiences and recommend response strategies
• Hire and lead a Trust & Safety team focused on policy enforcement, dispute support, and compliance
• Establish processes for monitoring trust incidents and prepare reports on marketplace trust status

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Trust & Safety or related fields, with at least 3 years in program design and implementation
• Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams, particularly in dispute resolution
• Hands-on experience in designing and scaling dispute resolution processes
• Exceptional judgment and decision-making skills in high-stakes situations
• Completion of a 4-year accredited college program; advanced study preferred
