Trust and Safety Manager

Job Summary

Leading the strategy and execution of Trust and Safety initiatives, the full-time remote Senior Manager, Trust & Safety will define trust protocols, build and scale a dedicated team, and ensure a safe marketplace through policy enforcement and incident monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Define trust standards and develop protocols for identifying and responding to trust-breaching incidents
• Hire and manage a Trust & Safety team focused on policy enforcement, dispute resolution, and compliance
• Establish processes for monitoring trust incidents and prepare reports on marketplace trust status for leadership

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Trust and Safety or related fields, with at least 3 years in program design and implementation
• Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams, particularly in dispute resolution and policy enforcement
• Hands-on experience creating dispute resolution processes from the ground up
• Exceptional judgment and decision-making skills in high-pressure situations
• Completion of a 4-year accredited college program; advanced graduate study preferred
