Trust and Safety Manager

Job Summary

As the first dedicated leader of Trust & Safety, the full-time remote Senior Manager will define trust protocols, build and lead a Trust & Safety team, and develop policies to maintain a safe marketplace while collaborating across departments.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement trust protocols to identify and address trust-breaching incidents
• Develop standard operating procedures and response strategies for policy enforcement and dispute resolution
• Lead the Trust & Safety team in monitoring marketplace trust and managing high-stakes responses to incidents

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in Trust & Safety, Operations, Product, or Compliance, with a focus on program design and implementation
• Proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams, particularly in dispute resolution and policy enforcement
• Hands-on experience in designing and scaling dispute resolution processes
• Exceptional judgment and decision-making skills in high-pressure situations
• Completion of a 4-year accredited college program; advanced degree preferred
