Trust & Assurance Lead

Job Summary

Owning the certification program end-to-end, the full-time remote Trust & Assurance Lead will manage security claims for auditors and enterprise customers, rebuild assurance as engineering, and drive down the cost of proof in compliance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Rebuild assurance as engineering by instrumenting controls to report their own state and detect control drift in near real-time
• Own the end-to-end certification program, including ISO 27001, ISO 27701, and SOC 2 Type II, and manage internal audits and external assessments
• Build AI assurance from the ground up, defining and instrumenting controls for AI systems and managing third-party AI risk

Required qualifications

• Experience running a certification and audit program for a cloud or SaaS company, with ownership of outcomes
• Proficiency in coding or automation related to compliance objectives using languages like Python or Go
• In-depth knowledge of at least two compliance standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or ISO 42001
• Experience engaging with enterprise customers' security teams and demonstrating compliance with operational evidence
• Strong cloud-native technical foundation, including knowledge of Kubernetes and runtime security
