Trust & Safety Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Trust & Safety Engineer to build technical controls that prevent abuse across authentication and account integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Harden login and registration flows using risk-based controls
• Partner with Security and Engineering teams to identify and remediate abuse
• Develop internal Trust & Safety tooling to centralize risk signals and automate enforcement actions

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
• 5-8 years of software engineering experience, including 2-3 years in trust & safety or security engineering
• Proficiency in one or more backend languages (Python, Go, Node.js, etc.)
• Experience building and maintaining internal tooling at scale
• Familiarity with data pipelines and querying large datasets (SQL, BigQuery, etc.)
