Trust & Safety Manager

Job Summary

Leading the strategy and execution of marketplace trust initiatives, the full-time remote Trust & Safety Manager will define trust protocols, build and manage a dedicated team, and ensure policy enforcement while collaborating across various departments.

Key responsibilities

• Define trust standards and develop protocols for identifying and responding to trust-breaching incidents
• Transform policies into actionable playbooks and establish monitoring processes for trust-related incidents
• Lead the hiring and development of a Trust & Safety team focused on policy enforcement and dispute resolution

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Trust & Safety or related fields, with a minimum of 3 years in program design and implementation
• Proven track record in building and leading high-performing teams, particularly in dispute resolution and policy enforcement
• Hands-on experience in designing and scaling dispute resolution processes
• Exceptional judgment and decision-making skills in high-stakes situations
• Completion of a 4-year accredited college program; advanced graduate study preferred
