Trust & Safety Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Trust & Safety Specialist will review user interactions for policy violations, handle escalations to law enforcement and NCMEC, and develop expertise in violence-related policy areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Review violent exchanges and user content to assess credibility and potential harm
• Handle escalations to law enforcement and NCMEC based on established criteria
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify emerging harm trends and potential policy gaps

Required Qualifications

• Ability to exercise sound judgment on high-stakes decisions
• Capacity to work steadily with disturbing material
• Proactive and strong independent work capabilities
• Genuine interest in AI safety and ethical technology development
• Direct experience with law enforcement referrals or comparable mandatory-reporting workflows preferred
