Turbine Resident Engineer

Job Summary

Assuming overall technical responsibility, the full-time Turbine Resident Engineer will support customers by identifying plant risks and problems, recommending solutions to improve steam turbine performance, and providing technical issue resolution while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive visual inspections of the plant and check the operation of turbine and auxiliary systems
• Submit monthly reports to clients and participate in quarterly technical discussions with power station representatives
• Provide turbine-related training and compile technical specifications for maintenance and refurbishment of turbine components

Required Qualifications

• B Tech., B Eng. or BSc.Eng. degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in engineering, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of steam turbines
