Turbomachinery Control Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Turbomachinery Control Application Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop turbomachinery analytics combining first principles with machine learning models for performance improvements
• Design, develop, and validate turbomachinery control algorithms using simulation-based techniques
• Serve as the subject matter expert for turbomachinery dynamic simulation and collaborate on new product development

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automation Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline
• Strong knowledge of turbomachinery control and operability
• Expertise in thermodynamics calculations for turbomachinery and related process equipment
• Proficiency in modeling and dynamic simulation, including tools like MATLAB/Simulink, UniSim, and Aspen
• Experience in new product development and industrial control systems (PLC, DCS) with relevant programming languages (Python, C)
