UAS Specialist

Job Summary

UAS Specialist, a full-time position requiring extensive experience, will assist in flight operations projects related to advanced aviation technologies, ensuring effective communication of their impact on instrument flight operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and implement FAA and DOT rulemaking and policy documents
• Maintain official documents and partnership agreements with various organizations
• Provide technical expertise and support for UAS security incidents and integration into the National Airspace

Required Qualifications

• BA degree with 12 to 15 years of relevant experience or a master's with 10 to 12 years of experience
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Security clearance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including SharePoint
• Prior experience in federal government contracting is preferred
• Knowledge of Section 508 Compliance requirements is a plus
