Editing raw creator footage into engaging short-form videos, the part-time UGC Video Editor will focus on creating authentic content for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts while working remotely in the US.
Key responsibilities
- Edit various types of UGC footage into fast-paced, native-feeling videos
- Add on-trend captions, text overlays, and sound design that align with current platform formats
- Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to select footage and provide performance feedback
Required qualifications
- 1-3+ years of experience editing UGC or influencer-style content with a portfolio or reel required
- Strong proficiency in CapCut and/or Adobe Premiere Pro
- Ability to create authentic UGC while understanding platform-native norms
- Familiarity with performance-driven editing techniques, including A/B testing
- Experience editing UGC for paid social/ad creative is a bonus
