UI Developer
Job Summary
To support a fast-paced delivery sprint, the remote 1099 UI Developer will build and manage a front-end application layer using React, focusing on data integration with Databricks and replacing legacy Power BI views.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and own the React shell, data visualization views, and configurable Portals for user interaction
- Implement secure authentication and role-aware access using Databricks AppKit with Entra ID / Azure AD federation
- Integrate the front end with governed data by querying SQL views and semantic models from the Databricks lakehouse
Required qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Python, with experience in frameworks like React and Dash
- Experience in state management and data fetching using modern frameworks
- Knowledge of server-side scaffolding and deployment with Node.js and Python
- Familiarity with authentication patterns such as OAuth and identity federation
- Ability to query catalog data from Lakebase or similar SQL configurations
