UI Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a UI Engineer who will implement, maintain, and evolve their internal design system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and evolve the design system using Tailwind, Radix UI, and shadcn/ui
• Build accessible, high-quality, and performant UI components in React/Next.js
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to ensure a consistent visual language across applications

Required Qualifications:

• Experience with React, Next.js, and Typescript
• Familiarity with TailwindCSS, Radix UI, and shadcn/ui
• Knowledge of component documentation tools like Storybook
• Understanding of accessibility (a11y) and WCAG guidelines
• Experience in building design systems from scratch or at scale is a plus
