UI/UX Application Developer
Job Summary
To support the United States Coast Guard, the full-time remote UI/UX Application Developer will design user-centered application interfaces, conduct user research, and collaborate with an Agile team to create efficient digital experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Design end-to-end user experiences from research through to production-ready UI
- Translate complex operational workflows into clear, efficient interfaces
- Conduct user research and usability testing, integrating findings into design improvements
Required qualifications
- Experience designing enterprise or data-dense applications
- Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
- Strong foundation in interaction design and visual/UI design
- Experience creating and maintaining design systems and component libraries
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
