UI-UX Specialist
Job Summary
To support a mission-focused enterprise modernization effort within the Department of Veterans Affairs, the remote UI/UX Specialist will design and validate intuitive, accessible, and responsive experiences across Salesforce Service Cloud and an Experience Cloud Applicant Portal while collaborating with various stakeholders in an Agile environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and facilitate user-centered discovery and design workshops to understand user roles and workflows
- Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that communicate design specifications and accessibility considerations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are technically feasible and aligned with platform standards
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of professional UI/UX or user-centered design experience with enterprise web applications or self-service portals
- Demonstrated experience in conducting user-centered discovery and translating business requirements into user flows and design specifications
- Proficiency with industry-standard wireframing and prototyping tools
- Working knowledge of Section 508 accessibility requirements and experience incorporating accessibility into design
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
