UK Employment Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Employment Counsel (contract) to support and advise on employment law-related matters in Europe, particularly in the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advice on a wide range of employment law issues, including workforce restructuring, employee relations, and compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage projects to ensure effective execution of employment practices
• Draft and review employment agreements, conduct audits, and support compliance efforts

Required Qualifications

• Qualified barrister or solicitor with a minimum of 7 years of post-qualified experience in employment law, focusing on UK and Ireland matters
• Experience advising on broader European employment issues is preferred
• Prior in-house experience or substantial experience advising non-attorney clients
• Employment litigation experience is preferred
• Experience advising on European pay data reporting is a plus
