UK Licensed EAP Counsellor

Job Summary

A company is looking for an EAP Counsellor to provide emotional support and counselling services remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide telephonic and video counselling, crisis management, and support while maintaining client confidentiality
• Assess clients for appropriateness of short-term counselling and manage high-risk calls
• Develop treatment plans and maintain clinical documentation in the case management system

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum Level 4 diploma in Counselling
• Full registration with a regulatory counselling body (BACP/BPS/UKCP/Other)
• Experience with short-term counselling modalities such as Solution-Focused, CBT, and Mindfulness
• Training in crisis intervention and experience with high-risk clients is beneficial
• Culturally sensitive and competent in using various communication methods (telephone, video, email, text, live chat)
