UK Licensed Employment Counsel

Job Summary

Seeking a qualified UK Licensed Employment Counsel, the full-time role will partner with the People Team and senior leaders to provide strategic employment law guidance across multiple jurisdictions, advising on complex employee relations matters and developing compliant policies and frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the People Team on day-to-day and strategic employment law matters across various jurisdictions
• Advise on complex employee relations issues, including contracts, investigations, and terminations
• Develop and improve employment policies and scalable frameworks to ensure compliance and consistency

Required qualifications

• Qualified lawyer, licensed in the UK or an EU jurisdiction, with experience in U.S. employment law matters
• 5+ years of employment law experience in a law firm or in-house, ideally in international settings
• Strong judgment in balancing legal risk with business needs and stakeholder interests
• Experience collaborating with People/HR teams and advising senior stakeholders effectively
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a collaborative approach
