UK Licensed GL Accountant

Job Summary

To support the financial operations, the full-time UK Licensed GL Accountant will manage the accuracy and completeness of the General Ledger, post month-end journals, and ensure timely bank reconciliations while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Post all month-end journals, including payroll accruals and intercompany entries
• Maintain accurate intercompany balances and complete reconciliations at month-end
• Run monthly FX revaluation and complete bank reconciliations for all entities

Required qualifications

• Part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or qualified by experience with strong technical skills
• Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and month-end close processes
• Experience in posting journals and managing balance sheet accounts in a multi-currency environment
• Strong Excel and accounting software skills
• Methodical and detail-oriented approach to ledger management
