UK Risk and Compliance Lead

Job Summary

To support the growth of Lemonade in the UK and Europe, the full-time UK Risk and Compliance Lead will manage regulatory relationships, design UK-specific policies, and maintain the Risk Management and Internal Control Framework while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with UK Branch Management and senior leaders to embed compliance in operations
• Design and implement UK-specific policies, processes, and procedures
• Monitor and report on compliance and risk, managing regulatory expectations and obligations

Required qualifications

• A degree in UK or European law, or a closely related field
• 7+ years of experience in risk and compliance, corporate governance, or UK regulatory work
• Hands-on experience in a Solvency II (or Solvency UK)-regulated entity in the insurance sector
• Familiarity with PRA and FCA regulatory frameworks
• Strong track record in regulatory reporting and executive-level analysis
