Job Summary

Providing professional interpreting services in healthcare settings, the remote Ukrainian Interpreter will conduct assignments via phone or Zoom, ensuring accurate communication between Ukrainian and English speakers.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret orally between Ukrainian and English in both directions during medical and community interactions
• Maintain high fidelity to original communications while working with diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds
• Meet the communication needs of medical professionals, patients, and various organizations through effective interpretation

Required qualifications

• Fluency in both Ukrainian and English
• Demonstrated experience in medical, legal, and community interpreting
• Formal interpreter training and/or relevant professional experience
• Willingness to obtain necessary medical clearances and background checks
• Access to a reliable phone, computer, and stable high-speed internet connection
