Unapplied Funds Manager

Job Summary

To support financial operations, the full-time Unapplied Funds Manager will manage daily activities related to unapplied funds and payment applications, supervise a Senior Financial Operations Analyst, and analyze data to resolve discrepancies impacting financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the resolution of unapplied and misapplied balances within the practice management system
• Develop and validate SQL-based reporting tools for transaction analysis and operational monitoring
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflows and ensure accurate payment applications

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field
• Experience with SQL for aggregating and interpreting large data sets
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to establish and refine processes with minimal oversight
• Compliance with HIPAA rules and regulations
