Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter to join their Risk team.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate merchant applications and assess credit and reputational risk
Review financial statements and analyze to recommend risk ratings for merchants
Conduct periodic reviews for existing merchants to facilitate ongoing risk management

Required Qualifications

3+ years of underwriting experience in merchant processing or commercial lending
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline
Ability to read and analyze business financial statements
Familiarity with KYC, AML, and payment processing requirements in North America
Prior payment and Fintech experience is a plus
