Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter to generate new and renewal business by analyzing documentation and making underwriting decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Determine eligibility of risks and respond to inquiries from agents
• Review insurance applications to assess risk and recommend premiums and coverage
• Manage a book of business to achieve profitability goals and assist with policy binding and endorsements

Required Qualifications

• Experience in underwriting or a related field
• Knowledge of insurance guidelines and standards
• Ability to analyze commercial line accounts
• Familiarity with pricing and coverage evaluation
• Proven track record of building positive relationships
