Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter to manage loans through final credit approval in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite multiple mortgage loan products in compliance with credit guidelines and regulatory requirements
• Review loan files for completeness and generate condition lists for applicants
• Collaborate with loan analysts and sales personnel to complete credit analysis in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Experience: 3+ years in residential mortgage lending with knowledge of lending regulations and credit analysis
• Experience with underwriting or processing fix & flip hard money loans is a plus
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and constantly changing business environment
• PC proficiency at the intermediate level and comfort with new technology systems
