Job Summary

Collaborating with various teams, the full-time Underwriter 3 will manage competitive bidding for employee benefits, analyze financial data, and maintain client relationships while working fully remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Execute competitive bidding of all employee benefits coverage lines
• Prepare financial and contractual analysis presentations in PowerPoint
• Collaborate with teams to evaluate and recommend coverage options and plan design changes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in health and benefits on the broker or carrier side
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office, with strong Excel proficiency
• High understanding of employee benefits funding mechanisms
• Familiarity with carrier reporting systems
• Experience with medium to large fully insured clients and understanding of self-funding preferred
