Underwriter 3

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Underwriter 3 will manage a small book of business, execute competitive bidding for employee benefits, and collaborate with various teams to analyze and recommend coverage options based on client goals.

Key responsibilities

• Execute competitive bidding of all employee benefits coverage lines
• Prepare financial and contractual analysis presentations for clients
• Collaborate with teams to evaluate and recommend coverage options and plan design changes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in health and benefits on the Broker or Carrier side
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office, with Excel proficiency
• High degree of understanding of employee benefits funding mechanisms
• Familiarity with carrier reporting systems
• Strong background in employee benefits, math, economics, or finance preferred
