Underwriter Associate

Job Summary

Providing concierge-level service to insureds and agents, the full-time remote Underwriter Associate will manage a high volume of policy servicing tasks for workers' compensation accounts, including billing inquiries, account maintenance, and communication with clients and agents.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and manage incoming calls, emails, and chats related to policy servicing, renewals, and billing inquiries
• Process and manage workers' compensation policies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards
• Identify trends and escalate issues for continuous improvement while maintaining high service quality

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in the workers' compensation insurance industry
• Prior experience in a call center or high-volume customer service environment is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with management systems like ImageRight
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
