Job Summary
Providing high-quality service to insureds and agents, the full-time Underwriter Associate CL will manage various servicing functions for small to mid-sized commercial accounts, including handling service requests, renewals, and billing inquiries while ensuring compliance and timely communication in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage incoming calls and service tasks related to policy documents, billing inquiries, and renewals
- Communicate with insureds, agents, and underwriters to confirm policy renewals and provide updates on tasks
- Process cancellations and conduct outreach to retain business, while maintaining documentation of all servicing tasks
Required qualifications
- Basic customer service experience and/or insurance experience
- Prior call center or high-volume customer service experience is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience with agency management systems such as EZLynx or similar platforms
- Ability to operate office equipment including scanners and copiers
