Job Summary
A company is looking for an Underwriter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Thorough review of loan files and determination of deficiencies
- Concise and accurate conditioning of loan files
- Analysis of complex tax returns and communication with relevant parties
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of current experience in Conventional underwriting
- Thorough knowledge of federal and state laws related to the mortgage banking industry
- Expert knowledge of AUS systems and recent FNMA/FHLMC underwriting guidelines
- Proficiency in client operating systems
- Must have underwritten conventional loans within the last year
