Underwriter for Health Plans

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Case Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and execute day-to-day pricing and underwriting for new and renewing business opportunities
• Coordinate with Sales and other business functions to submit timely and complete RFP responses
• Collaborate with the Executive Team to design and maintain internal underwriting and financial reporting SOPs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Actuarial Science, Statistics, or Economics, or equivalent relevant work experience
• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, actuarial services, accounting, pricing, and underwriting
• Experience in Pharmacy, PBM, or Health Plan required
• Knowledge of risk management, statistics, and financial modeling
• Proficient in Excel and data visualization tools, with experience in SQL, SAS, or R preferred
