Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute underwriting tasks, manage complex appeals, and resolve application discrepancies
• Lead compliance audits and ensure adherence to carrier and regulatory guidelines
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for carrier inquiries and manage data vendor audits

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in underwriting within Insurance or Financial Services
• Deep understanding of FCRA, OFAC, MIB coding, and medical impairment risk evaluation
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with underwriting workbooks and Admin Portals
• Strong analytical skills to investigate data and audit complex files
• Proven ability to draft legally compliant correspondence and manage relationships with external carriers
