Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter III, Specialty Non-QM Loans.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate loan documents for accuracy and compliance with standards
• Analyze loan-related financial data to identify potential fraud or misrepresentation
• Provide recommendations to borrowers regarding suitable loan programs

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college courses in Business, Finance/Accounting, or related field preferred
• Eight or more years of underwriting experience, with three years in specialty loans
• Expert-level knowledge of mortgage lending processes and valid documentation
• In-depth understanding of underwriting and regulatory requirements
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment
