Underwriting Analyst

Job Summary

Assisting the mergers and acquisitions liability division, the full-time remote Underwriting Analyst will support the underwriting of representations and warranties insurance by managing submissions, participating in internal calls, and maintaining electronic files.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in underwriting Representations & Warranties insurance policies
• Participate in internal underwriting calls with the M&A deal team
• Manage submissions, quotes, binders, and policy issuance with proper supervision and approvals

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Paralegal degree/certification
• Experience with financial statements, taxes, and legal documents preferred
• Knowledge of current business and legal risks
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
