Underwriting Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting the underwriting team, the full-time remote Underwriting Analyst will perform data analysis, assist with application processing, and provide customer service while collaborating on special projects and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily research and analysis of discrepancies in underwriting applications and policies
• Communicate with internal and external parties regarding billing, application, and policy administration processes
• Perform internal audits to ensure adherence to guidelines and compliance with legal regulations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related work experience (minimum 8 years)
• 2-5 years of experience in insurance, reinsurance, or financial services
• Basic skills in Word, Excel, and SQL/Query
• Competent ability to comprehend and interpret insurance and contract documents
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
