Job Summary
Supporting underwriters in the evaluation and analysis of insurance submissions, the full-time remote Underwriting Analyst will gather data, conduct preliminary risk assessments, and ensure accurate documentation to maintain operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and review underwriting data from brokers, agents, and internal systems
- Perform preliminary risk analysis using established guidelines and rating tools
- Prepare proposal summaries and coverage comparisons for underwriter review
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Insurance, Business, or a related field
- 0-2 years of experience in insurance, underwriting support, or a relevant analytical role
- Exposure to the property and casualty insurance industry preferred
