Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriting Assistant (Inland Marine Insurance) to support their Underwriters and customers remotely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain electronic policy files and ensure proper documentation and organization
  • Issue policies and process endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements within specified timeframes
  • Provide customer service by responding to requests for status updates and information
Required Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of P&C insurance industry experience
  • Basic to intermediate skills with MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Self-motivation and ability to prioritize workload with minimal supervision
  • Ability to make sound business decisions within level of authority
