Underwriting Assistant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Underwriter to join their team remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Underwriter in reviewing insurance applications and ensuring all required information is obtained and processed accurately
• Provide support for the sales and production process, including issuing renewals and new business quotes
• Order and review inspections, verifying information for accuracy and compliance with underwriting guidelines

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One (1) to two (2) years of related experience
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Exceptional telephone demeanor
