Underwriting Assistant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriting Assistant (Excess Casualty).

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and process policies and endorsements for issuance according to Underwriters' instructions
• Assist in reviewing new and renewal submissions for underwriting criteria and completeness
• Request and manage necessary documentation from brokers for rating, quoting, and policy issuance

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Bachelor's Degree or 1-3 years equivalent work experience preferred
• General knowledge of property and casualty insurance operations preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
