Underwriting Assistant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Underwriter/Underwriting Assistant to support its Underwriting Team in a remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and administrative support to the Underwriting department
• Gather and organize data from various sources for underwriting decision-making
• Maintain effective business relationships with internal and external customers related to the underwriting process

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is preferred
• Experience as an underwriting assistant or internship with an insurance carrier or agency is preferred
• Experience in Workers' Compensation or Property & Casualty lines is preferred
