Job Summary

Supporting the Primary Casualty underwriting team, the remote Underwriting Assistant will manage underwriting transactions, assist in file preparation and report assessment, and provide rating support for new business submissions and renewals.

Key responsibilities
  • Perform underwriting support activities, ensuring compliance with service standards and documentation
  • Produce quotes, binders, and endorsements, and issue new business and renewal policies as directed
  • Collaborate with internal and external contacts to meet client expectations and enhance service delivery
Required qualifications
  • A bachelor's or technical degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred
  • At least one year of insurance industry experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of insurance policy forms and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and ImageRight
  • Ability to adapt to change in a rapidly growing company environment
