Job Summary

Providing exceptional customer service, the full-time Underwriting Assistant will manage inquiries from producers and home office personnel, assist with policy changes, and support underwriting processes in a hybrid office/remote environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Responds to inquiries from agents and home office personnel, ensuring timely and accurate communication
  • Processes endorsements, cancellations, and general policy changes while binding new business
  • Prepares correspondence and assists in training co-workers and agents as needed
Required qualifications
  • High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to perform multi-tasks under pressure with a high volume of daily transactions
  • Prior work experience in an office environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
