Job Summary
Providing exceptional customer service, the full-time Underwriting Assistant will manage inquiries from producers and home office personnel, assist with policy changes, and support underwriting processes in a hybrid office/remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Responds to inquiries from agents and home office personnel, ensuring timely and accurate communication
- Processes endorsements, cancellations, and general policy changes while binding new business
- Prepares correspondence and assists in training co-workers and agents as needed
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to perform multi-tasks under pressure with a high volume of daily transactions
- Prior work experience in an office environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
