Job Summary
Providing excellent customer service in a hybrid office/remote model, the full-time Underwriting Assistant II will manage inquiries from producers, process endorsements and policy changes, and support both new business and renewal underwriters.
Key responsibilities
- Receives and redirects inquiries from producers and home office personnel, ensuring timely responses
- Processes endorsements, cancellations, and general policy changes while assisting in training co-workers and agents
- Binds new business and supports underwriters with the preparation of necessary documentation and correspondence
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Prior work experience in an office environment with the ability to multi-task under pressure
- Strong analytical skills for processing diverse information
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
