Job Summary

Providing policy issuance and underwriting support, the full-time Underwriting Assistant will manage data entry, process underwriting tasks, and maintain strong relationships with underwriters and brokers while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Perform data entry and process underwriting tasks in accordance with departmental standards
  • Create and manage new business and renewal accounts, ensuring accurate documentation and policy issuance
  • Review and maintain underwriting files, confirming accuracy and completeness for policy booking
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Knowledge of insurance operations and relevant experience in support or processing teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with various systems, including Policy Administration Systems and Excel
  • Experience or educational background in insurance or related industry exams preferred
