Job Summary
A company is looking for an Underwriting Assistant (Construction GL) to provide support to senior underwriting staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess loss history and financial conditions for risk cases
- Collect and analyze documentation to evaluate risk cases and confirm eligibility
- Collaborate with the underwriting team to process insurance applications and manage customer inquiries
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 1 year of underwriting or related insurance experience required
- CPCU, CIC, CRIS, or Property & Casualty Brokers License is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn industry-specific software
- Willingness to work in a hybrid office environment
