Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriting Assistant (Construction GL) to provide support to senior underwriting staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess loss history and financial conditions for risk cases
  • Collect and analyze documentation to evaluate risk cases and confirm eligibility
  • Collaborate with the underwriting team to process insurance applications and manage customer inquiries
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 1 year of underwriting or related insurance experience required
  • CPCU, CIC, CRIS, or Property & Casualty Brokers License is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn industry-specific software
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid office environment
