Underwriting Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriting Associate.

Key Responsibilities

• Process New Business, Renewals, Endorsements, Cancellations, and related transactions
• Request and gather necessary data and reports from various sources for policy issuance
• Maintain service standards by monitoring work queues and ensuring timely processing of requests

Required Qualifications and Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of insurance experience, with a minimum of 2 years in commercial underwriting support
• Proficiency in data entry and computer skills, including MS Office applications
• Strong knowledge of Workers Compensation, GL & Auto rating, and policy construction
• Ability to work autonomously with remote supervision
